See testcase, make sure you have plugins set to "Click to Play". That page should trigger a doorhanger prompt that asks if you want to enable plugins for that page, but it doesn't currently.

Jared mentioned on irc that the patches for bug 730318 and for bug 734323 seem to fix this.

Verified fixed in today's trunk build on the Samsung Galaxy SII, using the url: http://people.mozilla.org/~mwargers/tests/plugins/flash/flashembed_invisible.html I guess fixed by bug 730318 and bug 734323. It's rather strange that the testcase to this bug is actually triggering the Flash plugin in Firefox desktop and Fennec, because the src that the <embed> is pointing to does not exist. I guess bugzilla is automatically triggering the Flash mimetype when pointing to .swf files or something like that
