After installation of Bugzilla on Linux, cannot open bugzilla page

Steps to reproduce:
I installed Bugzilla on Linux machine. But when i tried to access the url http://localhost/bugzilla on the machine which has Bugzilla got installed on it, the page doesn't get open.
Actual results:
When i give ./testserver.pl http://localhost/bugzilla in putty,
i get following error:
TEST-FAILED Fetch of images/padlock.png failed
Your web server could not fetch http://localhost/bugzilla/images/padlock.png.
Check your web server configuration and try again.
Expected results:
The Bugzilla page should have been opened on Linux machine successfully.

OS: Windows XP → Linux
