I've just had it reported on tb-enterprise, that these links don't work:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/10.0.3esr/win32/xpi
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/10.0.3esr/win32/xpi
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/10.0.3esr/contrib
This is a side-effect of a internal-mirrors only release - you can no longer easily get to these bits that are on internal mirrors but not on the external mirrors.
The current work around is to use ftp:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/10.0.3esr/win32/xpi
but we generally advise against that because of the extra load on the non-mirrored server.
Can we get the esr links to work for some internal mirror suitable method without having to resort to the non-mirrored ftp?

Ben/Aki - any idea what's going on here?

releases.mozilla.org redirects to non-internal mirrors, ESR releases are only on internal mirrors.

https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ will have them. Please please please don't even link to ftp://, http is dealt with better by the network/backends

This section requires updating if http://releases.mozilla.org is not the correct place to get language packs in all cases:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Language_packs#Downloading_a_language_pack

Disagree. ESR is a special case and breaks a lot of assumptions. I don't think we should design our docs around this.

I'm closing this for a few reasons:
- ESR is on internal mirrors by design
- ESR is accessible through Bouncer
- We do the same thing for Betas without issue
- Enterprise users have had no trouble finding the ESR
- The first Google result for "firefox esr" is http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/, which is two clicks away from downloading it.
Alex, Mark - please re-open if you feel this is important to address despite the above.

Our organization had to spend quite some time to find Solaris builds of FF & TB ESR and their language packs. They are not accessible through the URL you provided.
The process to find them included using Wireshark to see where the links at download.mozilla.org links are actually downloading files from.

Solaris builds are contributed builds. Other than hosting the downloads, we have nothing to do with them and have never advertised them in any way. The folks that make them may provide links from somewhere, I'm not sure.
