I've got a few rules set that throw incoming mail in folders, and due to a test
of another bug, I erased all index files. Now I find that, in folders I didn't
re-open after deleting the indices, mo shows only the newly moved mails, not the
old ones. Erasing the index and re-opening the folder causes the app to reindex
correctly.

I update to the latest nightly about twice a month, when I reported the bug it
was 20010321. I just upgraded to latest, so I dunno if it still happens. I
assume it does, tho - it's been in there since I first started using it.

I'll test with 0.9 when it comes available.

changing QA assigned to laurel (since it sounds like it's filtering related).
Laurel, are you able to reproduce this?

I've just installed nightly 2001052115, and that still has the bug.

So far, I'm not able to reproduce this on today's linux commercial build. I've
tried so far without biff/mail notification set, maybe that's key? So far I'm
seeing all mail messages, old and newly filtered, in the folders which had
summary files deleted previously, which weren't opened then in later sessions
new mail filtered to them.
Any more details for reproducing would be appreciated.

What do you need ? config files ?

What kind of mail server are you using?
When you're filtering are you filtering to a folder on the same account, or to
Local Folders or some other account?
Is mail notification on (pref: check for new mail every N minutes) and
automatically downloads new messages?

Please retry with a new build. I believe this is a dup of a bug that was fixed a
few days ago. Thanks, and let us know if a new build fixes this.

POP3 server, filter to same box, auto check&download on.
I'll try the new build as soon as I've got a chance.
