User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
Build ID: 20120312181643

Steps to reproduce:

using Firefox 11.0 on Windows 7 professional service pack 1 (64 bit), when trying to 'bookmark this page' from the bookmarks drop down menu on top of the browser the "add bookmark" pop-up window appears as expected. When I move my mouse on the add bookmark pop-up window to change the directory location to store the bookmark, the add bookmark window disappears before I can do anything? If I move my mouse near the yellow star on the right side of the url window, the add bookmark popup window might mysteriously appear again but it just vanishes again when I move my mouse on it?
Please try http://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe+mode to exclude an add-on issue.
If this fails, please try disabling hardware acceleration in Options / Advanced.

Do you have any mouse tweak enabled in the system, things like Focus under mouse, or Focus follows mouse?
I restarted firefox in safe mode with all add-on's excluded and the "add bookmark" funtionality worked with no problems, so it appears it could be a add on issue.

I then restarted firefox in regular mode and disabled all plugins and extensions manually via the add-ons Manager tool and the bookmark issue still appeared again?
I tried restarting firefox multiple times and verified all plugins and extensions where disabled and still had the bookmark issue.

How does one debug this if manually disabling all plugins does not provide the same result as restarting in safe mode with all add-ons disabled?

I have about 16 plugins and would prefer not having to figure out how to uninstall all of them and then re-install them one at a time to figure out which one is causing the issue
I did more testing and unchecked the "use hardware acceleration when available" option within the firefox options-> advanced menu and that fixed the issue for me.

Thanks for your tips/advice.
Not sure if this is something that could be fixed in the future in firefox so using hardware acceleration doesn't cause this issue for me and possibly others.

And with HWA enabled, has a more recent driver update resolved the issue for you?
