This is a very minor bug:

in client/js/item.js

There are a few strings in this.lootMessage that read, "You equip a mail armor," or "You equip a leather armor."

Might want to change this phrase to, "You are now equipped with chain mail armor" or "You are now equipped with leather armor."

"You can has rat burger" made me laugh. If you want it to reflect more lolspeak, you could change it to "You can haz rat burger," (but it's already funny as is.)
Thanks for your suggestions.

I have changed "you can has" into "you can haz", which I agree is better. (commit https://github.com/mozilla/BrowserQuest/commit/00ab4d2701ff2dc66a3db10fd3084bf135204ef3 )

However, there isn't enough room in the GUI to rephrase the equipment notification as you suggested. Moreover, it seems to me that the phrase "to equip something" is quite commonly used among video game/RPG players (although maybe not grammatically perfect).
In other words, English teachers everywhere will cringe. Alright, fair enough ;)
Closing this bug since these strings won't be changed after all.
