Background: After starting firefox, as I do everyday, the password manager inevitably prompts for my master password shortly afterwards, even when no websites open appear to require a login. I presume this is Sync doing its stuff.

This popup sometimes appears (and often enough now to 'bug' me into writing this) while I'm typing, e.g. a URL into the address bar. I'm wondering whether it would be possible for Sync to hook into keyboard events so it can back off and not prompt while the user is typing. I.e. to reduce the chance/frequency of interruption.
