User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:12.0a2) Gecko/20120313 Firefox/12.0a2 Build ID: 20120313042010 Steps to reproduce: Press Cmd+N to open a new browser window, then type http://developer.mozilla.org/ in the address bar and press Enter Actual results: the role attribute on the nav#nav element has the value "menubar" Expected results: the role attribute on the nav#nav element should have the value "navigation". As the spec [1] says: "A collection of navigational elements (usually links) for navigating the document or related documents." the role="menubar" is more suitable for application-like menus such as the demo here [2]. :icaaq: I think this concerned the old web site that will disappear in about 3 weeks. I'm resolving it as WONTFIX. Of course the same bug on the beta would be perfectly valid. But a new bug would be better.
