From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; 0.8.1) BuildID: 2001032704 since the introduction of the new image library (libpr0n?), certain GIF images show up as black rectangles. Sometimes, they show up "split". I haven't seen a problem with jpeg images. If I save the GIF images, by right-click "Save Image", and load them in another program, they appear fine. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. browse web-site with GIF images (banner ads are a good candidate) 2. notice they display as black rectangles 3.
I am seeing this on Win98 as well, build 2001032704
