Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; 0.8.1) Gecko/20010323 BuildID: 2001032319 When seeing an e-mail with accents in Mozilla Mail, encoded with ISO-8859-1, the accents are garbled in the display. That is, what is displayed is the raw UTF-8 of the e-mail, instead of the proper accents. The e-mail headers contained properly: Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 When seeing the source of the e-mail, the accents are displayed correctly. Sometimes, the accents are displayed normally when I select character coding as UTF-8 and then back to Latin 1. Sometimes, just by selecting UTF-8, the accents are displayed correctly, even for a ISO-8859-1 e-mail. However, if I select another message, it happens again. The message index pane's accents are garbled no matter what. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: It happens to me by just selecting a message with accents. Actual Results: Accents are garbled: UTF-8 raw is shown instead of the accents that are in the message. For instance, Mozilla shows "Saudações" instead of "Saudações"
