Details
The UI currently appears usable if the add-on is not installed, when in fact it isn't. Some ideas: * Disable the test button, and upon clicking give the "install the helper add-on" notification. * Provide a permanent notification at the top, that indicates that the builder is not completely configured. * Nuclear option: Don't ever allow anyone in the editor environment without the add-on installed. Instead pop them onto an installation page that provides the install link, and reloads post-install to validate that the install was successful.

This is good timing, we were trying to plan a new user flow for the ABH install process last week. I will bump this to the top of the queue because it annoys the $hit out of me as well.
