Goal: reduce number of blogs and channels
Fred/Jake, is it possible to batch migrate all content from http://blog.mozilla.com/mobile/ to the main PR blog @ blog.mozilla.com under category "Firefox for Mobile"

Timeline: April 3, 2012

The content on the mobile blog is actually not anything we'd put on the main blog.mozilla either- not sure if we should migrate that content or just let it go

I'm not sure how feasible it is to migrate the data from one blog into a category into another blog... I know there are import/export tools that might help, but I don't think you can specify that imported posts should go into a particular category... maybe you can, maybe not. The tools are really designed to help you out with migrating from one blog platform to another, or one hosting provider to another.

We can investigate it more thoroughly if/when we're ready to do this.
Bulk move to Websites::blogs component, per bug 1353528
Component: blog.mozilla.org → blogs
Component: blogs → WebOps: Blogs
Product: Websites → Infrastructure & Operations
Valarie, this hasn't been touched in over 5 years. I'm assuming this got resolved or otherwise left alone.

If this is still something you want to deal with, feel free to re-open a new bug and we can assign some resources to help you make this happen.
