Sometimes, while browsing, in particular soon after launching Fennec, the browser becomes very unresponsive. It doesn't respond to dragging (or drags extremely slowly), doesn't respond to taps (although often taps will take effect after the responsiveness returns) and can produce the android "not responding" dialog. From my anecdotal experience, this seems to happen when the android sync indicator appears in the top notification bar. Since this happens primarily when I launch the browser, my guess is that Fennec is syncing data, and this leads to slowness. This is Nightly Fennec, Android 2.3.4, and an HTC Sensation.

Yes, that sounds like it. It's been happening for a while -- funny that Joe and I decided to report it at the same time.
