User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
Build ID: 20120312181643

Steps to reproduce:

Opened Chrome to the same website; vimeo video worked fine.
Checked for FF plugins that might be required.
Checked my privacy & security settings. Nothing in there seems to be preventing vimeo.
Searched online for solutions. Tried one from FF4, using about:config, resetting some video setting (can't remember which) to true. Didn't help either.

Actual results:

Still cannot get the vimeo video to show up on the page in FF11.
The fact that Chrome works does not impact Firefox - they use different plugins

Is Shockwave Flash listed if you go to about:plugins (type about:plugins in the location bar)? If so, what version? If not, you need to install Flash

What is the URL of the page with the video?

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile

This really should be posted to the Firefox help site -> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/ask as Bugzilla is not for end-user support
Thanks for the FF support suggestion, so I posted it there: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/923633#answer-321214
(Sorry, I came to Bugzilla trying to find a FF support posting page, thinking this was the place. Oops.)

My FF has Shockwave & Flash plugins and I keep them up to date. I went back to the URL of the video problem so I could give it to you, and voila! The Vimeo is now showing up and playing today. Go figure.

Thanks for your help, Tim.
