Cmd-Z doesn't undo in edit fields, but menu works

- enter some text into a text field (in an html page, or the url bar)
- select and delete it
- type cmd-Z to undo

expected:
- text should re-appear

actual:
- nothing happens

Choosing "Edit:Undo" works just fine. Also, cmd-shift-z (redo) works fine.

after following the original steps, i can still use accel+Z to undo the deletion
of my selection [at least in the urlbar]. used 2001.04.02.xx comm bits on mac,
linux and winnt.
this works for me with my keybinding checkins
