Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 Build ID: 20120312181643 Steps to reproduce: In about:config, set browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground to true. Right click on an image to bring up a context menu. Middle click or Cmd-click on View Image to open the image in a new tab. Actual results: It opened in a new tab and the new tab got focus. Expected results: The new tab should have opened in the background. This seems to be a regression in Firefox 11. I appreciate that an image isn't a bookmark, but browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground used to work for this purpose and now it doesn't.
What is your setting in Tools -> Options -> Tabs -> When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately?
That setting is unchecked.
Happens in both Windows and Mac OS. Dupe of Bug 713362 ?
