I found an way to simulate the problem. [All my account (5) was set with IMAP] On Unified Inbox Folder, order by STAR on top, as you can see, all emails stared was on top, after the stared emails come the newest ones, everything was ok to now. Now, group the messages by thread and order again by star on top, ok again. Now, navigate a bit on Unified Inbox sub-folders, when come back to Unified Inbox, my email list are all messy. If I try to re-order by star on top, my newest email go to the button and the stared to the top. The only to fix that was, unthread, order by start, group by thread again and order by star on top, more one time. But, if I access any unified inbox dub-folder the list messy again. Sorry, my very limited English. If someone didn't understand what I wrote, let me know to re-write!
Forget my last comment, this was about other bug!
I found the problem for my case. Actually I only use remote calendars, Google Calendar connecting by CalDAV protocol, on Thunderbird, and for any reason the buttons are hidden when receive invitations for remote calendars, but if you create a local calendar the buttons appear, so you can accept, reject, etc... and all works perfect, including Outlook invitation compatibility. Is it possible to implement support to accept, reject, etc on remote calendars?
Do you have the email addresses set up correctly int he calendar properties dialog? This is usually the culprit. I've also herd this with google calendar and the provider there it was the problem that the server doesn't support this, so the buttons go away. Do you get any error console messages?

Philipp, I don't know if I understand well what you asked me... My Google calendars are working well, for the main calendar I use "https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/rafaelXXXXX@gmail.com/events" and for further calendars, I need to get the calendar link, similar to this link bellow "https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/ms0oaepXXXXXXXXXl3lp8@group.calendar.google.com/events" All connected using default Thunderbird CalDAV I have used "Provider for Google Calendar 0.18" plugin in past, but now is no more necessary, because Thunderbird works well with CalDAV support, the only lack was the support for the buttons. About error console, sometimes I have problems to "dismiss" some calendar notifications (from an Google calendar), for example: Timestamp: 07/02/2013 14:12:51 Error: this.mItemInfoCache[aNewItem.id] is undefined Source File: file:///C:/Users/Rafael/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/narsaugb.default/extensions/%7Be2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103%7D/components/calDavCalendar.js Line: 660

Locate your calendar in the list in the left pane. Double click the calendar or choose Properties... from its context menu. Ensure that an email account is assigned to this calendar in its properties dialog. Without the email account Lightning cannot create and process email invitations.
Perfect, one of my calendar accounts, was with wrong email account! Working fine now!
