User Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; en) Presto/2.10.229 Version/11.61 Steps to reproduce: Close a tab Actual results: This message appeared on the xterm where I started firefox. Expected results: I don't see any use for this message so perhaps it can be removed now?
Are you running the DownloadHelper add-on? Is browser.dom.window.dump.enabled in about:config true or false?
Thomas, Thanks for the blindingly quick response. The value is false and yes, I'm using downloadhelper (it's GREAT by the way). This is a nightly version of Firefox which is, by the way, approaching GREATNESS! Thanks, George...
If you disable DownloadHelper / start Firefox in Safe Mode, does that make the message go away? https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
This issue exists and is described on the DownloadHelper bug tracking: http://bugzilla.downloadhelper.net/show_bug.cgi?id=405 It has been fixed in the latest alpha versions and 4.9.9 including this fix will be released very soon.
George hasn't responded. assuming comment 3 is correct.
