Steps to reproduce:

Using the filter functionnality, then switching from Sent mail folder (imap) to Inbox folder (imap also)


Actual results:

Freezes


Expected results:

No freeze !

Sorry for the multiple bug declarations (739212 & 739251), the 739251 is more precise : switching from "another" folder, to the Inbox folder.

Can you try the beta from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel and let us know if it works better ?

Yes it does : 12.0 beta, french version.
No freeze since 1h. Still testing but it should already have occured.

Notice : with this version, "Lightning 1.3" has been desactivated. Sorry I did not try to desactivate it with 11.0, before installing the beta version.
working in 12.0b2 indicates fixed by bug 733731
