Currently when one scrolls down through a large select list after a few successful flings up and down, any further attempts to scroll through the same list yield a painful experience with the performance of scrolling taking a massive hit. Steps to Reproduce i) http://people.mozilla.com/~atrain/mobile/tests/select2.html ii) Scroll down through the entire list with a fling, scroll up through the entire list with a fling. Rinse and repeat. Notice how performance quickly degrades and any attempt to scroll through the same list becomes jerky and lame. -- Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Android 4.0.2) Nightly (03/26) Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:14.0) Gecko/14.0 Firefox/14.0a1
I'm just going to dup this to bug 735636. When its fixed we can reevaluate (performance on my 2.3 device isn't really what I'd call "jerky and lame" but it could be better. Maybe things got worse in ICS though, or maybe i just have low standards).
