After scrolling, letters like lower case 'g' have their descenders clipped and
don't look like real letters. Anything that causes a refresh generally fixes
it, but if you just scroll and start reading you'll find them clipped.

All of my descenders look fine to me after scrolling on Win 2000. Though, we do
have a bug on Linux about the outliner not looking right so perhaps it depends
on other factors such as resolution, os, and fonts.

Build 2001-03-29-04: NT4
I also don't see the problem using modern or classic.

steve, can you attach a screen shot?

If this happens, it means the chosen font on the platform is too big. Outliner
specifies a line height in pixels, and it's going to blit based on that line height.

To reproduce this bug, simply drag your scrollbar up and down scrolling the
thread pane over and over until you see it. It took me about 10 tries or so to
do this on purpose. Attaching screenshot next...

Bugzilla is not accepting attachments. I've posted the screenshot in my publish
area.
