Design bug for LEAD initiative templated materials: * Powerpoint template, * Word Doc with header and footer * Binder cover and spine
Blocks: 740130
cc-ing Rhonda. Once the Visual ID is established with the "LEAD" type treatment. We'll tackle these.
Yep - this is great. Exactly - these come next! Kate
Binder specs: 1 in thick spine
Hey guys, I we're almost ready to get started on this. I was wondering if you have some flexibility on the due date here. Would you be comfortable pushing the delivery of these template designs out to mid/late next week? Please let me know. I was thinking eod Wed. or Thursday. Lee is on board to help out and he could possibly knock it out sooner, but he's also somewhat slammed so I'm trying to be conscious of over-promising. If there's no flexibility, please let me know that too so I can figure out another solution. Thanks!

No worries - next week is great. EOD on Wed is perfect. Thanls so much - we are looking forward to the finished project. Thanks for all your help. Cheers, Kate
Attached image Life Stance Handout
Attached is the first of two handouts we will need for the first off-site in May. There are a couple of minor changes to this that we will need: (1) At the top - as a means of introducing this concept we will need it to read: "As a leader, we need to be aware of one of two different life-stances. The one on the left is a play not to lose strategy. The one on the right is a play to win strategy. As a leader, you will be more successful if you focused on outcome-creating vs. outcome-reacting" (2) Within the document under Core Beliefs - we have edited one under each column to read: Under Outcome reacting - I can't create what I want. Under Outcome-creating - I can create what I want. Let me know what else you need. Thank you - Kate
Here is the copy for Levels of Listening Handout. This is good to go!
This is an example of the graphics which go with the copy for Levels of Listening. There is only one minor change we want to make to this. Across from Level 2 listening - if we could call it Focus on other person - not just other. Thanks! Kate
Hey Kate, thanks so much for posting these. But these are actually being posted in the wrong bug :) This bug is for the templates, as discussed and outlined in Comment #0. The content you seem to be posted are for the formatting bug, right? That would be here: Bug #740130 It's okay for now but lets be sure to use the right bugs when posting comments, content and feedback. That said, seems like the content formatting is actually going to be a lot of work. I'm also a little unclear as to what Lee would need to do (how much of it is design work vs. reformatting basic stuff like text). So if you can clarify that would be great. >>Re: Comment #6: Seems like you need that flyer done from scratch since it's just a photo-copy, right? >>Re: Comment #7: Does this need to stay in a word document with appropriate header/footer or did you need this styled separately as a handout? >>Re: Comment #8 Is this the actual graphic or were you looking to reproduce this? If it's the actual graphic, we won't be able to go in and make changes unless we have the source/layered files (the original artwork basically). And if it's re-illustrating it... that's a lot of work :) so we should discuss.
I put these files under the right bug! Sorry about that!:) And, also answered this question there too. Kate
Hi Kate, I have a couple questions regarding the Word letterhead: Letterhead - Do you want this set up for Letter size doc? (8.5" x 11") - If there is any additional content you'd like to include (contact information, URL etc.) could you provide the exact copy/content to include? Aiming to post all templates tomorrow by EOD. Thanks for your patience! L
Hey Lee, (1) Yes - set up for 8 1/2 x 11"! (2) We are simply looking for a similar look and feel to all the documents (3) We can probably add a footer to the page once it is created . . . yes? If so, then no need to include any additional info (3) I left a note (rather detailed for Tara today) we will want all of these docs to be able to be numbered once complete - so will just want that option too - but I think that this is a formatting thing not a design thing. Hope that helps! Cheers, Kate
Lee - Tara, Also just got off a long call today with Debbie - and initially we talked about a binder that is 1" thick - we will need to go bigger - maybe 2" instead? Will that be a problem? Thank you! Kate
Hi Kate, That won't be a problem at all. I increased the width of the binder spine to fit into a 2" binder. Linked here are the templates for - Word doc letterhead (8.5" x 11") - Keynote presentation (title page, blank pages, and suggested content layout/font) - Binder cover art (Front, Back and Spine) with bleeds pulled for printer http://cl.ly/3r430U3T2R0I2V050r3D (In reply to Kate from comment #13) > Lee - Tara, > Also just got off a long call today with Debbie - and initially we talked > about a binder that is 1" thick - we will need to go bigger - maybe 2" > instead? Great work Lee !!!
Thanks Lee!
Lee - they all look terrific! Thanks so much! Kate
Great, Kate. I'm happy you like them!
Just wondering when we will see the LIFE STANCES and LISTENING doc. Also - per earlier comments we would like these in a WORD document so that we can paginate them with everything else that we are making. We need these by latest on FRIDAY - 4/27. Cheers, Kate
