I filed a request to automatically identify zombies in Bug 740524. I think that functionality would be useful for a bunch of user-facing things in about:memory, for example: 1) annotating which compartments are zombies in "Explicit Allocations" 2) adding a line like js-compartments-zombie to "Other Measurements" along with a count of zombies 3) summarizing a list of zombie compartments at the bottom of "Other Measurements" along with URLs 4) if there are zombies, including a link to description somewhere of how to do add-on bisection to identify potential zombie makers. Something along the lines of https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting-extensions-themes#w_test-for-faulty-extensions but more explicit than this 5) displaying if any enabled add-ons are known zombie makers along with link to bugzilla report
