The MCS hosting wiki page has been updated since the last action on this bug... any news? Is this completed? https://wiki.mozilla.org/MCS:Hosting

@Nukeador: Could we get some more information as to why the original two documents need to be merged?

Reps need an overview about all the requests that are available to them in terms of IT, and also what are the requisites for these kind of requests to be approved. The two documents had/have different information, but there was no central one with all the info.

I'd like to see a whole new policy if I'm honest. The current policy isn't really written very well anyways, and there's a whole host of different verification methods for auto-appproval than the current ones. Anyone interested in exploring drafting a new policy?

Tom, would you be interested drafting this?
Yeah, I have been interested for a while. We've just had our sponsorship cut off by HP, so need to move our infra over to AWS. Therefore, no time to do anything over the next 3 weeks. I've got some draft ideas somewhere, I'll try and dig them up when I've finished tidying up all our puppet code

I'll be meeting with Community IT folks soon, so I'm porting this to our Trello backlog here: https://trello.com/c/JAzKdiVK/100-update-community-it-sops
