74174 - Dialogs/alert messages coming up in strange sizes/buttons look weird too

seeing this on MacOS 9 and WinNT/2k

build 2001032906/08
install and using new profile to activate

actual result: windows integration dialog fills entire screen, no text, no 
buttons
buttons in activation screens are missing text, screens have scroll bars
open mail and password dialog fills screen- no text

expected results: usual size dialogs, with text/ proper buttons

This is affecting a lot of places in the app, lots of people have been pained by
it.  Entering all the important keywords since it interrupts work frequently. 
Some cases worse than others.

..so..what's the status of this bug? I'm not able to use our product coz of this 
bug. I'm also surprised to see that the milestone is not set for this bug 
inspite of several nominations :)

fyi: I'm still seeing this in the debug build from last night.

As the filer of the duplicate bug 75120, I'd like to report that the site at
which I experience the problem most often no longer exhibits the problem in
build 2001041015 (Mac).  Now all security dialog boxes using the secure login
option at http://mail.yahoo.com/ are loading with the proper text.  I have no
clue as to what other sites exhibited the same problems, but if I run across it
I will report such issues.

grace, laurel and tommybee, what theme are you using? if it's modern, then this
could be a dup of bug 72530 [which has been recently fixed]. could you see if
this is still happening for you w/a more recent build?

I haven't seen it in the past couple days. I was and am using modern theme.

I have been using the Modern theme and have not experienced the problem since
the 2001041015 build when I first noticed that the dialog boxes were loading
properly again.
