standard8: you mentioned that you want to change the way Thunderbird release redirects work. We should get the ball rolling on that well in advance of the colo move as the web team are going to own the updates and will require a bug filed for each release, as opposed to our self-serve updates today. How did you envision the redirects working in the future?
After discussion with sancus on irc, we should keep the live redirects for the time being, but have them as web team accessible, i.e. so that sancus, myself & others can access them. This basically boils down to bug 740345 and whatever is needed to make that happen & move to appropriate servers.
