User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120327 Firefox/13.0a2
Build ID: 20120327115436

Steps to reproduce:

Set Facebook account

Actual results:

I tried with e-mail as user name :o/
That is what ask Facebook on logon

Expected results:

Probably we can explain in the Chat Account Wizard / Username panel what is username, and this is not equal with e-mail that asked during facebook login.

In my opinion the expected results would be:

Should be able to log in with either the email adress or username since the login fields on their homepage allow that too.

For the record, Facebook does explicitly call this your "username", but I agree that comment 1 is probably desired.

I'm not sure if there's a Graph API to allow us to map from an email to a username, but hopefully there is. (But you probably need to already be logged in to use it...doh.)
Summary: We can describe more precise what is Facebook username → Allow logging into Facebook Chat with username or email address
