the url contains minimalistic setup to reproduce the bug, basic points are:
a DIV with position: fixed; AND heigh: xx%;
image with height: 100%;
image does not get displayed.
I see this too, build 2001-04-02-05.

Also seeing this.
Note that for me the image redraws correctly after clicking on the image.
this looks ok on windows with today's build.  if this is a dup of one of the 800 
other linux scaling bugs, mark this one fixed
