Just wanted to get this on your radar. We need to design an invitation for the Flicks event in Cannes. I'm still waiting on details on the e-mail invitation mechanism we'll be using, so I don't have specs yet (should get them today). Will update the bug shortly with specs and copy requirements.

Okay, here are the basic details. Firefox Flicks winners party May 17, 21h00–0h00 The Plage des Palmes Please RSVP by May 14 Questions: firefoxflicks@mozilla.org Maybe we can use the same content from the ad? Rhonda, I'll need this as a jpeg. I'll get measurements for you shortly. Also, I'll attach what I did for the San Francisco event (I know you can do it better and, you know, use the right fonts! :))

This was what I was able to do in Paperless Press. We should be able to just add an image and still be able to use it for the invitation. Let me know if you have questions and thanks!
It would be great if we could use the various "The Ends" from the other ads. I would use the design of the catalouge ad for sure. The dimensions of the invite are 620 × 620. Thanks! C

Invite looks great. Feedback from Pete & John was to remove "the end" stuff at the top. The feeling is that it takes away from the invite. Thanks!

Shoot, think my comment collide with Matej's so I am redoing it. It needs to say .....at the Cannes Court Metrage (with the accent over the first "e" in Metrage). Then we can run it by the event agency.

Is that instead of Festival de Cannes or instead of the venue? Or after the venue? Do we also need to change/add this to the other ads? Also, which way should the accent go?

Ok,so, two options; Mozilla Firefox invites you to the Firefox Flicks Winners' Party at Cannes Court Metrage OR Mozilla Firefox invites you to the Firefox Flicks Winners' Party at Court Metrage Festival de Cannes (see how it's done here: http://www.cannescourtmetrage.com/en/) Accent slants to the left.

Okay, just got confirmation from the event company in Cannes: We should change the headline to "Mozilla Firefox invites you to the Firefox Flicks Winners' Party at the Plage des Palmes, Festival de Cannes". Apparently the "Court Métrage" is the Short Film Corner (as an entity) and the "Plage des Palmes" is the venue. Confusing! Thanks!

If possible, I'd like to go back to the version in comment 18. I don't think it's 100% necessary to mention the venue in the top block. I more meant it like "come to this event (winner's party) during this other, bigger event (film festival)." If you look at the reference version in comment 5, that's the way we did it: "Firefox Flicks at the SFIFF." Then we have the venue towards the bottom with the details. Does that make sense?
I'm fine with both, but I'd like to have this wrapped up asap as I'd like to send the invite out today. I think it works both ways.
