Firefox 12.0 latest beta, Windows XP SP 3

The address part of an url created for visiting a new collection currently being created stops updating after typing a colon in the collection name.

Example:
1. Open https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/history-export/?src=search
2. Open the 'add to a collection' link, and choose 'Start a new collection' from the bottom.
3. Type 'Fx: History'.

Actual result: Only 'fx' is suffix of the url.

Expected result: Something like fx_history or fxhistory or ...

This works for me now, and we also provide an "edit" button for slugs when you create the collection.

Firefox 25.0 on Windows

If I type very slow, the colon isn't the issue and letters get added to the url. If I type fast, the letters don't get pushed anymore to the end of the url after the 3-5 letter.

Thanks for filing this.  Due to resource constraints we are closing bugs which we won't realistically be able to fix.  If you have a patch that applies to this bug please reopen.
