1. go to http://people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/html_tp/HTML5_user_scale_no.html 2. open a new tab to http://www.google.com 3. look at the tab menu 4. go to about:home Expected: in both tab menu and about:home, I would expect the whole page to be thumbnailed. Actual: part of the thumbnail is black.

I can reproduce this on the Galaxy Nexus (~2.5MB Camera-shot over screenshot??)
Comment 5•12 years ago

I wasn't able to reproduce this following the steps above on HTC Desire Z (2.3.3) using latest Nightly version. Like you can see in bug 747367 this issue is reproducible for desktop version sites also, i'm not sure that is a "user-scalable=no" related issue only.

Paul, do you have the device in portrait mode or landscape? You should see the issue in portrait mode.

Yes, I've tested his on HTC Desire (2.2.2) and Motorola Droid 2 (2.3.3) too and i can't reproduce the issue neither in portrait or landscape mode. Can you perhaps provide more detailed steps to reproduce this?

qawanted to re-test this. If reproducible, we'll need better STR (perhaps device-specific) since neither Paul nor I can reproduce based on existing STR.

This is still reproducible using STR from Bug 747367 witch was mark as duplicate of this bug: Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Fennec app. 2. Open two ore more pages in separate tabs (Ex. cnn.com, nytimes.com). 3. After the pages are completely loaded quit fennec. 4. Turn the device in landscape mode and open fennec. 5. In about:home page tap on "Open all tabs from last time". 6. Wait for the pages to be loaded. 7. Tap on "+" button and open the tab list. 8. Turn the device in portrait mode with the tab list open. 9. Turn back the device in landscape mode. Like i sad at comment 5 i'm not sure that is a "user-scalable=no" related issue only because is reproducible for desktop version sites also.

Using the Aurora build, I am unable to reproduce this issue. Placing QA wanted to have this retested again with the most recent fixes.

I am unable to reproduce the issue following the steps from the bug. However following the steps from https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=744980#c14 (Bug 747367) I can reproduce the issue on Nightly/15.0a1 2012-04-29 and Aurora/14.0a2 2012-04-29 on the HTC Desire (Android 2.2)

Bug 750846 hasn't landed on Aurora yet, so this isn't currently fixed in the beta builds.
