User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/536.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/20.0.1096.1 Safari/536.6 Steps to reproduce: Thunderbird 11.0.1 on Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7: 1) CTRL-click on account, select settings 2) In "Account Settings", select "Security" and press the "Security Devices" button. 3) Close "Device Manager" by clicking "OK" 4) Close "Account Settings" by clicking "OK" Actual results: Thunderbird is unresponsive: Clicking on f.x. the "Write"-button has no effect. The menu-bar still works as expected. Expected results: Clicking on the "Write"-button should work.
OS: Windows 7 → Mac OS X
Can't reproduce on Win XP, TB14. Is there anything interesting in tools->Error console after the failure?
I have only seen it on OS X, too. It works fine in Ubuntu and Windows 7, too. There is no new entries in the Error Console.
Rasmus we'll need a stack trace to go further on this. You'll need to download the symbols like https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Using_the_Mozilla_symbol_server#Downloading_symbols_on_Linux_.2F_Mac_OS_X and then attach gdb to the thunderbird process to get a stack. Do you think you could do that ?
