Show close button on tabs on hover when lots of tabs are open

Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 Build ID: 20120312181643 Steps to reproduce: Wish: When many tabs are the close button disappears. It would be useful if on a prolonged hover (e.g. 2 seconds) over the tab, the close button would appear. Currently the tab must be activated or right-clicked in order to close it. (Right-clicking is slow due to having to navigate the right-click menu. This would be remedied if "close tab" were the first entry rather than "reload tab" which is much less useful, I'd guess.) Actual results: I can't *quickly* figure out how to file a wish in this opaque bug tracking system. Sorry!

Hovering a tab for 2s just to see the close button is not very intuitive. Also changing the order of menu items would make a lot of users mad. What we can have at best is a reduced value of "browser.tabs.tabClipWidth".

Hello, I just test this old report on an actual version from Firefox and can't see this problem any more. can you just confirm this, so we can finaly close this? if you still have this problem, please add a picture, so maybe it will be easier to reproduce. thank you for all your help.
