User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.162 Safari/535.19 Steps to reproduce: 1. make sure your Firefox browser is up-to-date or no older than 9 and the Flash player plugin is the latest (or 11.1); 2. go to www.poetryarchive.org site; 3. click any button on home page poem player panel; 4. nothing happens Actual results: The poem player (with Adobe Flash player plugin) In www.poetryarchive.org site has stopped working in Firefox since version 9. It also threw "TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference." in Flash debugger. Since it seems working fine in the other browsers (including FF 6, 7, 8), I don't believe it's a bug in the swf file (We haven't changed it for more than 3 years). Expected results: Flash player should be working in any browser.

This works in Opera11 but fails with Seamonkey trunk on win32. confirming for now and will do a regression range search later at home.

Last good nightly: 2011-09-14 First bad nightly: 2011-09-15 Pushlog: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=cfd1e3533f0f&tochan ge=f2a2adaaacba bug 686538 or bug 622199 ?

Hi Matti, Good work! Now we're pretty sure that the issue was caused by Bug 622199. We've also found out that in FMS the urls sent through from Firefox were cut-off. Then it would end up with an Authentication failure because of the problematic urls. For example, in Chrome, we got this: "Accepted a connection from IP:82.36.XXX.XXX, referrer: http://www.poetryarchive.org/poetryarchive/flash/paAudioPlayer.swf, pageurl: http://www.poetryarchive.org/poetryarchive/singlePoet.do?poetId=11735 -" But in Firefox, we got an error: "Authentication failed for pageurl: http://www.poetryarchive.org, rejecting connection from 82.36.XXX.XXX -" I was trying to understand the code change of bug 622199. But, I'm by no mean a C++ developer. Thought You might be able to spot the issue on the source code quickly based on the findings. Really appreciate your help! Cheers, Zeyin

Is this still an issue ?
20160502172042 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0 20160602030220 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 I have tested your issue on latest FF release and latest Nightly build and could not reproduce it. Is this still reproducible on your end ? If yes, can you please retest this using latest FF release and latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results ? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).
