From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; 0.8.1) Gecko/20010323 BuildID: 2001032319 After opening a site, any editing of address in address bar causes browser to crash Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open site e.g http://www.foo.bar/somewhere/somewhere2/index.html 2.click in address bar between bar and /somewhere, swipe out remainer of address and delete 3.hit enter Actual Results: browser crashed Expected Results: open new location
worksforme with 040404 mozilla win32 build on NT5. Also works on Mac and linux builds from today.
Looks like reporter is using an old build. Marking WFM OS: Win2k SP1 Moz Build: 2001040404 Win32 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; 0.8.1)

have you tried a new profile (mozilla -profilemanager)?
setting up a new profile and running mozilla with that profile resolves the problem
