We are now targetting 4/23 as the landing date for the new theme.  I'll try to
get a screen shot posted of the new "new" design before that.

Since everybody wants to know what the latest iteration of the new Modern design
looks like, I've got some screen shots for ya.  The first one is of the new
toolbar icons (which will also be used in the Classic theme) and the second one
is of the mail 3 pane. Keep in mind these are still "preview" versions and are
still being designed and perfected by Marlon. Enjoy.

Joe, where did the discussion about replacing the classic icons happen?  I don't
see anything classic about these icons.  Am I missing something?  Am I confused?

the buttons in the mail screenshot are there for composition purposes only.  as 
are some of the details like the thicker splitter.  that will likely become the 
sidebar splitter only, and all other splitters will be thin

Why's there a delete icon for news? The mark button replaces the delete button
in newsgroups.

hey joe, is it possible to make the skin just a tiny bit darker? the screen
shots you made were perfect shading imho, but for some reason, it came out a bit
brighter than what you had posted, kinda hurting my eyes when night falls. (just
thought you could use some feedback)

But really great skin! The Mail/News part ROCKS! Keep up with the great work! ;)

I second that.  I like the color, but it physically hurts my eyes... I know you
must be pulling your hair out since everyone wanted you to lighten it after the
original shots were posted.  Howabout something closer to the normal windows
shade of grey?
