Here're the specifics for the Community IT request: > Where the users will come from? India. > What will run on it? Drupal, Phpbb, Mediawiki, Node.JS, Django, Facebook app. Serving adblock plus filters for regional users. > An estimation of the number of visitors 500-1000 per day. >If you want to manage the server yourself Yes. (already doing this for a year) > if so, your sysadmin skills 2 high/proficient admins, 3 devs. Unmanaged linux server will do. Latest Ubuntu preferred (12.04 will be best, as it's LTS & lands shortly). If managed server, then cPanel will be preferred over Plesk. > and any other information that you think can be useful for us. http://www.ovh.co.uk/vps/ plan 4 (2GHz/2GB/50GB) looks good.
