because this is awesome:

xapply -ft /tmp/ksb/hosts 'ssh %t1 %Q*' cmds

(Q for quoting all shell metachars including ')
Yea it is cool. I see that petef is using for aitc, token, stoken load testing...

I would run that xapply in parallel with:
   xapply -mP13 -ft /tmp/ksb/hosts 'ssh %t1 %Q*' cmd

For a log file I might add a title header, like:
   xapply -e XCLATE="-T'%Q1 on %t1'" -mP13 ... >my.log

Failed test with -N reporting would be nifty as well, but that
requires an explicit xclate wrapper and -N (at least).
