Steps to reproduce:
Can you please help me attach a file in Gmail? This works in Internet Explorer but not Firefox.
Steps to Replicate:
1. Click "Attach a file."
2. Click the file.
3. Click Open.
Actual results:
The file is not attached.
Expected results:
The file is attached.

Try the Firefox safemode http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode and I'm sure it works because I can't reproduce your reported issue with Firefox11

I followed Tylerdowner's advice on FIREFOX HELP, and that fixed the issue.
