It looks like the Fire does not allow sharing of intents when trying to launch the Share option in fennec. instead, you're taken to the Kindle Silk browser. See screenshot Repro: 1) 4-19-2012 nightly, kindle fire 2) launch any website, and click system menu > prefs 3) click the Share icon 4) Verify the Silk browser is called, and only intent is to choose a browser Expected: - on stock android gingerbread, choosing a URL to share should prompt intents like email, social apps, etc.. Actual: - sharing apps intent seems disabled, and only Silk browser is opened.

Anything in the log when you open tap share?

I don't fully understand the STR. Can we retest and see what's happening now? Sharing has changed a bit in Fennec.

Doesn't affect current Firefox. I can successfully send tab and email pages to myself.
