User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Build ID: 20120417165043 Steps to reproduce: Use firefox with the restore tabs on startup option enabled. Actual results: Sometimes (maybe once a month or so) when I start Firefox, my tabs are not restored. It appears to be mostly random, however it seems to happen most often immediately after updating plugins. Expected results: Firefox should always restore my tabs.
This is a little vague ....

(In reply to Matthias Versen (Matti) from comment #1) > This is a little vague .... Yes it is. I'm sorry I can't give more details. I'll be sure to add more if I figure out how to reproduce it.
I have a similar issue in Firefox 13. Maybe these details help. I updated some plugins, but did not restart, just hit the close button. Later (after a long time) I noticed that the Firefox process was still running (although no windows were visible) and I terminated it. When I opened it again, my tabs were gone! The list in "about:sessionrestore" was also empty. I tried replacing "sessionstore.js" with my old (and large) "sessionstore.bak" and restarting, but still nothing. I thought the file could be corrupted, but I opened it in a JSON parser and it says it is well-formed. Any fix on this?
It just happened to me again when I restarted after downloading a flash update.
