Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120420 Firefox/14.0a1
Build ID: 20120420030653

Steps to reproduce:

With Nightly 14.0a1 (2012-04-20), have two browser windows open.

Drag a tab (the last/only one) from one window to the other (normally, this would end up with the "from" window closing).

Required: a dialogue box, such as cookie confirmation, pops up during the drag.

Actual results:

The browser locks up. All windows and dialogs fail to respond. Events are being processed, however.

See old bug Bug 167267 for a similar issue.

Expected results:

Either: (1) the drag should be cancelled so that the user can deal with the pop up.
Or: (2) the pop up should be held back whilst the drag is in process.

(1) is preferred as more expected.
