User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Build ID: 20120417165043 Steps to reproduce: I have a SVG with a pie chart and some text. I tried to select the text. Actual results: At first nothing seem to happen - there was no visible indication (feedback e.g. inverted colors ) that any of the text was selected, but when I right click, I can see the popup menu with an option to search the text. Also, when I click any where in the SVG, firefox should unselect the text, but this is not happening 'all the time'. If I try to view source, it always tells me to view selected source and there is no way to unselect the text or whatever component that seems to be selected in the SVG. Expected results: 1. I should get visible feedback that I am in the process of selecting text in a SVG. 2. I should be able to click away and unselect my selected text.

Alice I hear you, maybe I am being a bit too technical, but text is actually being selected but there is no visual indication of this while you are in the process of selecting. right clicking will confirm that text was selected. Anyways I leave you folks to it :)
