User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 Build ID: 20120312181643 Steps to reproduce: Not aware of any changes. Actual results: Google voice plugin is no longer working. The pop-up will not allow calls to be made and has the message "Please download the voice plug-in to make a call." The plugin was already installed. I deleted it and reinstalled, but no dice. The plugin works correctly in Safari. Mac 10.7.3 Firefox 11 Latest version of google voice plugin from www.google.com/chat/video Expected results: Attached screen cap of Safari and Firefox as well as the version of the software I downloaded.

When did this started, after a Firefox update or after a google voice plugin update ? Can you see the plugin in tools/addons/plugins (ctrl+shift+A on windows) ? Please test again in the Firefox safemode: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

FYI - I cannot open the screenshots attached (error states that the files are corrupted).
Also, does this refer to the Google Voice add-on for firefox?
Actually disregard comment 4. I see what you are referring to - www.google.com/chat/video.

Jason: This is for the google voice NPAPI plugin. The reporter wrote a private email and the current situation is that the plugin is not found by Firefox after he tried to reinstall it. "there was a google voice plugin registered in the plugins earlier today, but it is not there now… " I suggested to try a new profile as first step to work around any pluginreg issues. I will suggest starting in the 32bit mode as next step... We can only continue if the plugin is found by Gecko/Firefox. You can continue here if you want. I don't have an Apple and never worked with OS X. It would be much easier for you....

I created a new profile and deleted the old ones which did not fix the problem. The plugin was not listed as installed, so I ran the installer again, and the plugin still does not appear.
I found a "solution" to fix the problem. Completely uninstall and reinstall Firefox (the simple profile change did not fix the problem). I used MacKeeper to completely clean out the firefox install, then I reinstalled it... viola, plugins were listed and the GV plugin is operational. I recommend backing up/exporting your bookmarks first. Maybe also your cookies and passwords, but I couldn't be bothered doing the latter two as its easy to build them up again.
marking wfm since we got no other reports about this.
