User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
Build ID: 20120312181643
Steps to reproduce:
Go to http://html5demos.com/offlineapp
Click on Allow
Actual results:
the user interface/allow button does provide feedback when you click on it. Basically it sets the cache status but the button/bar doesn't disappear as it should. It makes you think that it just doesn't work .
Expected results:
The permission request bar should disappear after the allow button is clicked.
I'm using Mac version .
The other buttons(not now and never to this site ) work perfectly so only the "allow" button doesn't work.

The permission bar works as expected with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
Please try it again in the Firefox safemode
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
I double checked . I also made a screen cast here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNKCMuHws98
Please note that I'm using Mac not windows so I'm not sure if it's a Mac only bug .
In the screen cast I'm using safe-mode . (help-> restart with addons-disabled )
Is there any update on this bug . It seems firefox updated to version 12 but the issue persists .
the allow button doesn't work but the others work . What's so hard to reproduce ?

Your bug. :) If it was easy to reproduce it would have been fixed already.
The nature of bugs is that they are sometimes a bit shy and hard to reproduce.
So while the "still an issue in Firefox 12" comment is welcome, "what's up" comments are not helpful and just create bugmail. Thanks for your understanding.

Hello,
I was just checking this bug-report, but I can't see an allow button in actual firefox 34.
can you maybe give us more information? maybe a pic with the button you see.
