The main issue is that content appears quickly laid down the page with no styling, and is then styled, and then backgrounds and other aspects appear. Even if the images are missing, there is no reason why the content it's self can't appear correctly laid out when the page is first seen. The effect is as though there is no caching, and it's being downloaded fresh each time. Although checking in Chrome, the headers seem to be set correctly. That might not be the cause of the problem, but that look, is what I get in Firefox."
