Works for me in build 2001040404 on Windows 95 khamis, can you test this again with the latest nightly build? The build you listed in the report is almost 2 weeks old.

I'm seeing this problem as well. I'm going to try to focus this bug on what I think is the real problem. Old summary: Drawing Problems of Panes in Mail New summary: Switching between folders causes message pane headers to disappear Steps to Reproduce: Load an IMAP account Select a message in the Inbox. Make sure that the Header in the message pane is showing default headers Normal and Expanded With the mouse select another IMAP folder with messages Results: Header is either missing completely or displayed with no content. Additional Information. Moving the splitter between the threadpane and message pane usually fixes the problem. The problem is not 100% reproducable on but displays enough of the time that it should not be difficult to reproduce moving between folders several times. The folders I'm testing with are Inbox (about 7000 messages) and a Sent Mail (about 2000 messages) Reassigning to MailNews Front End

stephend, I don't think this is a dup of 74817 - the other bug is referring to repaint problems in the outliner, this bug is referring to problems with the message header area in the actual message display itself. I've been consistently seeing the problem described in this bug since 0.8, and it's still reproducing in 20001041104. On an IMAP mail server, switching between folders causes either: o The message header pane not being displayed at all, OR, o The message header pane being displayed as an empty, unpainted (blue) area. This behaviour isn't 100% reproducable, but it happens more often than it doesn't. In either case, the message headers can be restored by resizing the horizontal divider that separates the outliner from the message view area.
I heard this might be an XPtoolkit problem.
