User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0
Build ID: 20120420145725

Steps to reproduce:

Logging out user and/or shutting down the system.

Actual results:

I get the following message "Logout has timed out because the application Firefox failed to quit."

Expected results:

Firefox quits.
This happens because Firefox is taking too long to shutdown. The fix would be to speed up the shutdown process, but there might be a way to request more time to shutdown during the system shutdown process so that Firefox can close normally without causing system shutdown to abort. Another possibility would be for Firefox to opt into the quick-close system Apple introduced, where the app tracks its dirty state and tells the system when it's okay to be kill -9'd to quit it for a fast shutdown.
