Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.162 Safari/535.19
Steps to reproduce:
Tried to send mail after updating to Thunderbird 11.0.1
Actual results:
Password refused by BT/Yahoo
(I tried to resolve the issue by changing the password at the BT?Yahoo end and then in Thunderbird several times but although BT?Yahoo accepted the changed password when I used it directly in webmail, it still refuses it when sent by Thunderbird
Expected results:
BT/Yahoo should have forwarded mail to Thunderbird so I could use Thunderbird's features to sort my mail efficiently

Sorry, I didn't find this URL. No my password doesn't have odd characters at any time. I just use the alphabet and digits iin all the passwords I have tried
I uninstalled the previous version of Thunderbird again on 13th October and set up a new version from Thunderbird from 16.0 exe
However I still receive the error message
An error occurred with the POP3 mail server. Mail server mail.btinternet.com responded
The odd thing is I can write mails in thunderbird from new and send them all right. , but cannot receive mail in thunderbird
