Short Description:
For discussion about Gaia, the mobile front end of B2G
Long Description:
Gaia is a collection of Open Web Apps that form Mozilla's mobile front end for the Boot2Gecko project.
Justification / Special Instructions:
This list is for the increasing number of Gaia-specific discussions which are currently happening in private because they're too front-end specific for the existing dev-b2g list.
I've listed the same list administrators as the dev-b2g list but they should be asked first.

Would mozilla.dev.b2g.gaia make more sense, as Gaia is a sub-project of b2g?

Not everyone sees B2G as a sub-project of Gaia, at some point wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/Gaia was moved to wiki.mozilla.org/Gaia for example.
I can't give an authoritative answer to this though.
Gaia is conceptually separate from b2g. Gaia is a UX built on the web platform, while b2g is an implementation of the web platform (that happens to run gaia extremely well, and vice versa ;) ). Gaia should work well on Boot2Webkit.
I generally dislike nesting so I'd cast a vote for dev-gaia on the basis of that, in addition to above.

OK. mozilla.dev.gaia it is. Over to server-ops for implementation.

Is there anyone at Google we need to ping about this? Having the group on Google Groups makes it extra more accessible.

I already talked to the appropriate folks at Google, and they are pretty swamped too.
Unfortunately there's nothing we can do but wait :(
